Black sapote is a tropical fruit is (aka ‘chocolate pudding fruit’) due to its dark brown pulp and subtle sweet flavour. It is a species of persimmon and is native to Central America. Rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, antioxidants and many minerals like potassium, calcium and iron, this is definitely a great way to get your chocolate fix!⁣
